Powderfinger Expands Reunion Tour to 35 Dates After Selling 300,000 Tickets in Six Days — Springfield Arts news

Australian rock band Powderfinger has expanded its 2027 reunion tour, adding nine concerts after the original 26 shows sold out. The band announced the additional dates on October 30, 2026, following strong ticket demand that saw more than 300,000 tickets purchased in just six days. The newly confirmed performances bring the tour to 35 shows, with additional concerts scheduled in Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Canberra, and Brisbane throughout November and December 2027. Brisbane, the band s hometown, will host the final two outdoor performances, bringing the reunion tour to a close. Powderfinger s return marks a significant moment for Australian rock fans. The group ended its touring career in 2010 after becoming one of the country s most successful rock acts, known for songs including My Happiness, These Days, and Sunsets. The upcoming tour will also feature supporting performances from Ocean Alley, Violent Soho, The Living End, Something For Kate, DMA S, and John Butler Trio. Presale tic
