Man in unincorporated Plainfield charged with child sex abuse materials possession

A man in unincorporated Plainfield has been charged in Will County with six counts of possession of child sex abuse materials.The charges were filed on Tuesday against Andre Tongue, 42, following an investigation by the Will County Sheriff’s Office. Tongue lives in an unincorporated part of Plainfield within DuPage Township.The charges alleged that on June 26, Tongue possessed digital videos containing child sex abuse materials, according to Will County court documents.Tongue was taken to the Will County jail on Monday after a warrant was issued for his arrest by Judge Fred Harvey. The charges against Tongue are class 2 felonies, which are punishable by either probation or up to seven years in prison.
