Bears report: RB Kyle Monangai practices for first time in more than a month

What happened Friday at Halas Hall:Monangai returns to practiceBears No. 2 running back Kyle Monangai practiced Friday for the first time in more than a month after hurting his toe in the Week 4 win over the Jets, when he rushed a career-high 30 times and finished with 146 yards and two touchdowns. He was limited in practice and it seems unlikely that he’ll play Sunday against the Buccaneers, but the Bears listed him as questionable. With the bye week coming up, Monangai would get two more weeks to recover before facing the Saints on Nov. 22 by sitting out Sunday.Jarrett likely to playThe Bears’ injuries have been a little tougher to gauge this week, coach Ben Johnson said, because of the quick turnaround returning from Seattle on Tuesday and not holding a normal practice until Thursday. He mentioned that specifically when asked about defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, who has missed time with a groin injury, but expected him to play against the Buccaneers.Cornerback concernsBears cornerbac
